Christmas is a time when families come to celebrate together, children laugh, Santa brings presents and there is an overall joy in the air. From the smell of hot cocoa to the twinkling of Christmas lights, every element of the season brings a smile to your face and warms your heart. It truly is the most wonderful time of the year. Its time to get Christmas Portraits!!
What to wear on Christmas
Tips for your Christmas Session!
1. Dress it up
Don’t be afraid to dress it up! You can never go wrong with a touch of fancy in your photos, and you certainly won’t regret saying yes to a dress! Dresses and skirts look most stunning because they really flatter every female body, especially on camera
2. Be Careful with patterns
Be careful with patterns (though you don’t have to completely avoid them). While I love a little pattern mixing, try to think more texture and less pattern.
3. Accessorize!
Accessories add extra dimension to your images and can be a nice tie-in when you’re coordinating with a group. Big statement necklaces bring a lot of pop to the photos, and belts, bracelets and earrings bring great visual interest. Choose one or two that don’t compete for attention.
4. Props.
I have some props for Christmas, but your Christmas photos really will be complete with a few festive props that is very personal. Bring some of the most meaning for you!
