7 Tips for LinkedIn profile photo
1. Take a professional photo
LinkedIn profile photos affect how people distinguish you, and the photo is the first impression you give to your future employers. A confident and appropriate look will lead to a good impression which is key to be a candidate for a job interview.
2. Make sure your photo is up to date
Your hair, glasses, makeup and style will not leave any room for a surprise when people meet you in person or video meeting and they will recognize you easily.
3. Use a professional high-resolution image

LinkedIn profile pictures are 400 pixels x 400 pixels.
LinkedIn banner or background photos are 584 pixels x 396 pixels.
5. Place your face in a way to take at least 60% of the frame
Crop the picture from the top of your shoulders to just above your head, so that your face will fill the frame.
